  To call it pub grub would be a huge understatement...it was fantastic food. Certainly the best of both worlds, great pub and fab food. And to top it all off the staff were completely on the ball. Deffinatley will be recommending to friends

  Had a lovely roast here, everything was fresh, locally sourced as far as I could tell. I had the beef, one of the best roasts I've had. Friendly staff, lovely little pub. Booking in advance is recommended.

  A traditional English pub that has been updated to be food oriented. Reasonable menu with some veggie choices. Good location. Gets really busy at weekends but fine in the week. Would definitely go back.

  Lived in the village for years before moving out. This place is what you can call a true home base pub. Friendly staff, good service.
