  I have been coming here for years. The food is delicious and has an authentic Japanese flavour. The portions are huge and great value for money, it's possible to leave with a full stomach for £5.
  Fast service, the food usually comes in 10 minutes and the waiting staff are polite and hard working.
  It can be very busy and it's a very small restaurant which can lead to waiting times of ten minutes or more, so I recommend having a back up plan in case you cannot wait.
  Overall, if you're a fan of Japanese food and you're in Brighton this is a must.

  Horrid experience having dinner here. Staff were unfriendly and food was mediocre at best. Tangy sauce has way too much vinegar and it runs up the nose. Rice used are jasmine rice,typical for a Chinese Japanese restaurant.
  
  Bringing your own drink? Bought a coffee down the road and wanted to eat lunch after? Prepare to pay £1 just to drink it in its premises, even if you are buying something. They rather serve you tap water than bring tap water from outside.
  
  Also witness a staff putting cutleries dropped on the floor back on the plate to be served. I do not know if he changed it in the end but cross contamination right there. I'm not coming back for sure.

  When I was living in Brighton, I always ate here. Fast, filling, satisfying, basic but tasty, cheap, and the venue is lovely. Cosy, relaxed, two floors and Japanese art and design. It's a proper locals joint for the international-spirited.

  Good Japanese food here. As well as being extremely cheap. They also allow you to bring your own drinks (tesco across the road) and just charge £1 per head for it. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
